D. Bello’s Intentional Outsource series shares how your organization can win by deploying a title production outsourcing strategy with a purpose.

In this video, we discuss the difference between growing and scaling your business. Growing is easy. Scaling is not, but it’s much more important. For example, have you truly scaled if your company processes double the number of files you did two years ago but also had to double your staff? What if you could achieve double the results without doubling the cost to do the work?

Scalability is the key to staying agile and opportunistic so that you can seize new opportunities and stay efficient even in the face of a downturn or decrease in volume. D. Bello has all the tools to help. We can supplement your in-house team and amplify the productivity of your key employees.

We do the work. You take the credit. Watch the video above to learn more!

Don’t forget to check out our second episode on Staffing Stability in our Intentional Outsourcing series, and stay tuned for the next video coming soon!

Video Transcript

At an industry conference not long ago, I had a conversation with a friend about how much our industry expanded during the pandemic. It wasn’t a groundbreaking topic, but he said something that stuck with me ever since:

“All the companies in this room have grown, but how many have scaled?”

That question has been chiseled into my mind because I’ve learned that growing is easy, but scaling is much harder.

Growth vs. Scale

Growth is doing more work with more resources. Scaling is building an operation that stays efficient through both high and low points.

When you scale, you can handle downturns without losing momentum and take advantage of new opportunities without overextending your team. Scaling is built to survive peaks and valleys.

Let’s break that down. Imagine that before the pandemic, you processed 100 files a month with four employees. During the boom, you grew to 200 files a month with eight employees. You doubled your workload, your overhead, your headcount, your revenue, and hopefully your profits — but your operational burden and fixed costs also doubled.

Now imagine you had strategically scaled instead. You would still process 200 files a month, but with the same four employees, supplemented by a partner like D. Bello. Your profits would be much higher, and your management responsibilities far lighter.

How D. Bello Helps You Scale

We can carry a substantial portion of your title production workload, boosting the productivity of your key staff without adding more employees. The result is a leaner, more agile operation that can adapt quickly to market changes.

When you scale with D. Bello, you are in the best position to:

  • Take on a new client
  • Purchase a competitor
  • Expand into new markets

All without scrambling to find and train new hires. We do the work, you take the credit.

If you want to stay profitable, efficient, and ready for whatever comes next, it’s time to think about scaling, not just growing. Contact us to learn more.
