D. Bello makes a $10,000 contribution to the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Jun. 23, 2022 – D. Bello, a leading remote workforce solution in the real estate title space, announced that it has made a donation to the American Land Title Association (ALTA) Good Deeds Foundation. The $10,000 gift provides support to the foundation’s mission of assisting title professionals in charitable efforts to their local communities.

“We’re grateful to join in the positive change that the title industry is bringing about in cities and neighborhoods across the country,” said D. Bello CEO Jeffrey Bates. “D. Bello exists to be a seamless extension of title companies. This is just one more way we can support the great work industry professionals do to be a force for good in their communities.”

Launched in 2020, the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation bolsters the charitable efforts of ALTA members by awarding grants to 501(c)(3) organizations. These organizations are nominated by members, and grants are awarded twice a year through a competitive application process. In March, the foundation awarded $6,000 each to 20 charities at the annual ALTA Springboard event in Tampa, Florida. The foundation will announce the next round of award winners at ALTA ONE in October.

“We love the title businesses,” added COO Andrew Acker. “Our roots are in this industry, and we are proud to have a hand in helping to provide these grants to outstanding organizations hand-selected by ALTA members. We look forward to seeing which organizations receive grants this fall.”

D. Bello has served the title industry since 1988 with high-value, reliable labor resources. Through its Title Production WorkforceTM, the Southern California company, which is a member of both ALTA and the California Land Title Association, provides an intentional outsourcing model that replicates the tasks and processes of each title company they work with, solving numerous production challenges. This frees up employees to dedicate more time to serving customers and growing their business.

D. Bello’s Title Production Workforce facility obtains ISO certification for security

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Nov. 30, 2021 – D. Bello, a leading remote workforce solution partner in the real estate title space, is capping off a successful 2021 with a new accreditation relating to digital security and data protection.

The Southern California company announced today that its main production facility recently gained certification in compliance with the requirements set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The specific standard, ISO 27001:2013, met by the company stipulates that it has the proper procedures in place to manage data security through its Information Security Management System (ISMS).

“We have always been committed to the security of our systems and operations. Our clients continue to be confronted by a mix of industry and regulatory requirements, and we want to ease our clients’ path to compliance,” said D. Bello CEO Jeffrey Bates. “The matter of data security is never absolute, but taking available strides toward advancing security is a must in today’s technological climate."

To receive this recognition, the company underwent a rigorous third-party assessment of its production facility where hundreds of Title Production WorkforceTM staff perform services on a daily basis. The audit was completed by QRC, accredited by the International Accreditation Service, and included an evaluation of its business process outsourcing services, along with support functions of human resources, administration, information technology, accounting and data control.

With this independent review, company COO Andrew Acker says clients can be confident that D. Bello is doing everything it can when it comes to managing its collective information security risks.

“Obtaining this certification provides our clients with a wide array of additional protections including data security, risk management and business continuity,” he said. “I am incredibly proud of the numerous individuals within our organization who went above and beyond this past year to deliver on our goal."

D. Bello has experienced impressive growth over the last couple of years as more and more title companies embrace technology and innovative solutions when it comes to responding to increased workloads and staffing issues. In fact, it ranked as a top growing small business in California by Inc Magazine’s Inc5000 Regionals earlier this year.

Goodbye D. Bello Associates, Hello D. Bello and the 2021 Rebrand

Get ready for summer: D. Bello unveils hot look, logo as first steps of 2021 rebrand

Building upon a run of record-breaking years, D. Bello has added another accomplishment: An updated look to match the company’s new objectives and products as a leader in the real estate title industry.

D. Bello has experienced an impressive period of expansion over the last few years, and others have started to notice. Earlier this year, D. Bello appeared on an Inc. Magazine list for being one of the fastest growing small businesses in California.

Though its Title Production WorkforceTM has long been an innovative option for companies searching for a title production solution, the concept has found its footing in today’s market where remote work has not only become commonplace, but essential.

“We’re pleased with how eagerly the industry has grabbed ahold of what we offer, the last couple of years especially,” said Jeffrey Bates, the company’s CEO. “It is an honor that so many of the most innovative and progressive companies in our industry are building their title production with us as a central component. Our value add is evident as it’s clear there is a need for this type of work both now and in the future. The launch of our rebrand is an exciting marker in the direction we’re headed.”

The first phase of the 2021 unveiling includes a new logo, a more vibrant color scheme focused on its oceanside California roots and tweaks to D.Bello.com – though a fuller website reveal is still on the horizon for later this year. All the new branding is woven together in a clean, contemporary way.

“Our objective as a company is to provide simple and helpful solutions to move our clients forward. Our new logo and brand are there to support who we are and become a visual marker amidst the noise of generic products and services in this industry,” Bates said.

How has D. Bello cut through that noise? It started pushing back on the misconception that a customized, innovative and affordable solution isn’t within reach. To achieve this, the company’s new messaging centers on D. Bello’s Title Production WorkforceTM being a modern-day necessity.

Andrew Acker, D. Bello’s COO, said it’s important to explain how the company can help tackle today’s problems clients are facing while also being a strong partner for them in the future.

“As labor strains continue to permeate our economy at all levels, the title industry is not immune. D. Bello’s fully customized solution alleviates that issue. We can plug and play into our client’s workflow without causing them to alter the way they work. This eliminates the friction to getting started and helps create a catalyst for their business. We hope when clients see our logo and rebrand, they’ll remember that D. Bello can move them forward too.”

2021 Inc 5000 Announcement

The word is out. We were recently named one of the top growing small businesses in California by Inc. Magazine.

“This award serves as a testament to the focused effort we’ve placed on providing the services and labor relief our clients need to thrive,” said company CEO Jeffrey Bates. “Our team will continue to execute on the promise to those who rely on us, strengthening their title production capability, consistency and reliability.”

Established in 1988 and headquartered in Newport Beach, D. Bello has experienced explosive growth in recent years by providing outstanding work for its growing list of clients looking to increase their production capabilities through a tailored remote solution.

D. Bello bills itself as a modern value add for any real estate title company focused on growth, work continuity and a more efficient production process. In addition to its California team, the company employs more than 425 people who make up its Title Production Workforce™. This group of well-versed and highly-trained title professionals are dedicated to becoming an extension of how D. Bello’s clients do their work.

Bates highlights the company’s growth pattern as proof that D. Bello’s organizational mission is on the right track and fulfilling client needs. He is enthusiastic about the future and eager to continue to demonstrate how D. Bello can alleviate production stresses for potential clients.

“Staffing will continue to not only be a challenge, but also a substantial risk, for the title industry,” Bates said. “Partnering with D. Bello can amplify the value of your seasoned staff, resulting in more meaningful productivity, less stress and happier team members.”

When asked about his thoughts on this award, D. Bello’s COO Andrew Acker said, “While we value the recognition of this prestigious award, it is only possible with our roster of amazing clients who have made this journey with us. At the end of the day, we know we’re just getting started and are excited to bring on additional partnerships in the coming years.”

Born out of Inc.’s annual 5000 franchise, the California Regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses — in the state.

“This list proves the power of companies in California, no matter the industry,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “The impressive revenues and growth rates prove the insight and diligence of CEOs and that these businesses are here to stay.”

D. Bello Associates Relocates Corporate Office

It's true. We've found a new place to call home. It's just as amazing with ever better weather and a $5 Uber ride to one of Southern California's best airports (hint, it's not LAX). As a company that travels as much as we do, anyplace we can open up a laptop and type typically serves as a functional workspace.

However, there's a lot of important work that goes on in our home office [aside from games on the dart board and office puzzles]. As our CEO Jeffrey Bates said in the Title News Press Release, "our new office location will allow us to expand our capabilities in key areas and continue to attract top talent. Newport Beach’s close proximity to John Wayne Airport also facilitates more efficient and effective travel and interaction with our clients nationwide. Service is a core value in our business and this move strategically allows us to build on that. Our team is excited about the growth we are experiencing and no one seems to mind the local climate either."

We hope you'll stop by and say hi. Our fridge is stocked full, the Nespresso machine is always on, and our golf clubs are within 100 feet.

The move was completed August 1, but if you have any questions on the relocation or are curious about Orange County trivia, be sure to email us from our contact page.
