NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – June 20, 2023 – D. Bello, a leading provider of customized workforce solutions for the title industry, is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2023. Established in 1988, the company has achieved remarkable growth during the last few years by earning the trust of numerous title companies seeking operational efficiency.

Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, D. Bello works with operations across the United States and has consistently delivered outstanding work and exceptional customer service. By offering title production assistance through its innovative Title Production Workforce™, the company has solidified its position as a leader in the title space and adapted to industry changes.

As a member of the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and the California Land Title Association (CLTA), D. Bello upholds industry standards and pursues excellence in its operations.

Founder Doug Bello started offering consulting services in 1988, leading to the establishment of D. Bello Associates in 1991. The company excelled, becoming an expert consultant for land records privatization around the globe as well.

In 2003, current CEO Jeffrey Bates joined D. Bello Associates, with a focus on streamlining operations and building the company’s brand. Despite challenges during the 2008 financial crisis, D. Bello experienced increased demand for tailored remote solutions.

Andrew Acker joined the team in 2012, leading to strategic changes and the establishment of multiple offshore title production agreements and partnerships in the following year. Today, Bates and Acker are well known in the title world and beyond for being frequent convention attendees and presenters – as well as good industry stewards.

In 2014, the company’s namesake Doug Bello retired, and Bates assumed his current role as CEO. Teaming up with Acker, the pair drove growth by reinventing the process of – and the conversation around – remote title production services, while simultaneously improving cost control measures and data security practices.

During the pandemic, D. Bello supported clients transitioning to fully remote production environments, accommodating record volumes. Now as order counts return to pre-2020 levels, D. Bello strives to remain a production partner that can provide flexibility and speed to its clients.

“35 years makes you stop and think about the journey – where you started and where you are now,” company founder and chairman Doug Bello said. “The constants have been the dedication for advancing change in the title production process by our internal team, and the mutual support and lasting relationships with industry friends, partners and customers. We are most grateful.”

Under the leadership of Bates, D. Bello has also worked to tell its story more clearly to current clients and potential customers alike. This included a corporate rebrand in 2021, embracing simplicity and cleanliness while honoring Doug Bello’s legacy. That same year, Inc. Magazine recognized the company as one of California’s top-growing small businesses.
