First things first, congratulations to Deborah, the winner of our ALTA ONE Giveaway and the soon-to-be recipient of a brand-new RadPower Rover e-Bike!
The D. Bello team made the short trip down south to attend the annual conference with more than 1,000 industry leaders for some sun, sand and San Diego.
Well… not so much the sun. More like clouds, wind and rain, but we’re there for the people!
Even though the weather wasn’t what we all hoped, we still felt the love meeting with so many of our industry friends, partners and colleagues. With a focus on “New Horizons,” we heard from leaders inside and outside of the industry for strategies on how to overcome the rising tides of challenges we are facing: inflation, interest rates, labor shortages, and an overall cooling market.
From Cody Rigsby of Pelaton to Col. Scott Mann, former U.S. Army Green Beret, this year’s Omni Sessions offered a mix of inspirational and practical advice on circumventing this climate of uncertainty. And speaking of great sessions, our own COO Andrew Acker hosted one of the Notable Sessions, which focused on overcoming the myths that stop companies from creating margin and seeking new opportunities. Along with panelists Aaron M. Davis, Craig Rants and Bill Svoboda, the session debunked three of the limiting beliefs that keep business owners and their teams stuck and unable to innovate, adapt, and ultimately scale. With plenty of real-world, battle-tested examples (and more than a few Office references), we’re grateful for the opportunity to share some of our insights and to hear from the experiences of these great industry leaders.
Another highlight from the week? Catching up with so many of our favorite clients and industry friends, including our partner Bowe Digital, with whom we co-hosted our poolside cabana. We met with so many of you this week to talk about your current successes, struggles, and biggest needs heading into 2023, including the opportunity to talk with some new friends.
Along with the Bowe Digital team, we also had the pleasure of co-sponsoring the ALTA Good Deeds Mini Masters tournament, as well as dishing out some delicious Root Beer floats for #SweetEndings.
As longtime members of the American Land Title Association, we’re thrilled to see how much this event has grown over the years, and we’re already looking forward to next year. And seeing that we’ll all be traveling to Colorado Springs, be sure to bundle up for the Broadmoor!
